Butterfield to Hold Town Hall in New Bern on the Economy
11/08/11WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman G. K. Butterfield (D-N.C.) will hold a State of the Economy Town Hall to update constituents on congressional proposals to create jobs and improve the economy. The Town Hall will be held at the Charlotte Rhone Cultural Center, 608 West Street, New Bern, N.C., on Thursday, November 10, at 5: 30 p.m.
“North Carolinians have questions about what is happening in Washington and how their Congress is working to address the pressing issues of job creation, budget cuts and income inequity,” said Butterfield. “This hour-long Town Hall meeting will give me an opportunity to talk about these issues and to hear the thoughts and concerns of my constituents.”
