Myrick Recognized By American Conservative Union

(Washington, D.C.) – US Representative Sue Myrick (NC-09) has been recognized by the American Conservative Union as an ACU Conservative for her score of 91% on key votes during the 110th Congress.

"As a lifelong conservative, I will continue to work towards the American principles of lower taxes, limited and efficient government, and a strong national defense," said Rep. Myrick. "I am committed to representing the best interests of my district and the country, and I'm honored to have been recognized by the ACU for my work in Congress."

"The American Conservative Union has given its 2008 Ratings of Congress Award to Congresswoman Sue Myrick for her support for conservative principles on a wide variety of issues," said ACU Chairman David A. Keene. "CongresswomanMyrick's lifetime rating of almost 95% over 14 years of service reflects someone who grassroots conservatives can look to for leadership."
