In 2008, CAIR was named as a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorism case , which led to guilty verdicts on 108 charges for terrorist front groups funneling more than $12 million to HAMAS.

Due to evidence presented at this trial, showing CAIRs ties to the terrorist group HAMAS, the FBI has cut all ties with CAIR.

Rep. Myrick has called for an investigation of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) after a memo, obtained through Paul Sperry’s newest book Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that’s Conspiring to Islamize America, lays out plans of the organization to influence national security policy by trying to influence Members on the Judiciary, Intelligence, and Homeland Security Committees, as well as place interns in these Members offices.
