(Washington, DC)- US Representative Sue Myrick (NC-09) met yesterday with the Ambassador of Libya to the United States, Ali Aujali. Aujali is representing pro-democracy Libyan protestors, as well as the new uprising authority being created in the liberated areas of Libya. 

Following their meeting, Rep. Myrick sent a letter to President Obama asking him to create a temporary no-fly zone over Libya to protect innocent civilians from Gaddafi’s air attacks. She is also asking that the Administration openly work with the pro-democracy authority that is emerging in Benghazi.
