(WASHINGTON, DC)– The office of US Representative Sue Myrick (NC-09) today launched anofficial iPhone application. The app synchronizes with her website content and provides instant access to videos, updates on current legislation, events and tour information. Constituents can also contact Rep. Myrick directly using the app. 

“It’s always been a priority to keep in touch with constituents, and the iPhone app is a great way to communicate,” Rep. Myrick said. “Many people use their iPhone or other smart phone for everything – phone calls, emails, social networking – so the application makes it easy for people to get information and send feedback about whatever’s on their mind.”
 
Social Bridging developed the iPhone application, which recently gained House approval for use by Members. “The app helps representatives stay connected to people in their district,” said Ryan Brown, Social Bridging President and CEO. “It reaches people through technology that’s relevant and useful to them.”
