Stutzman Congratulates Senator Jim DeMint on Being Named President of The Heritage Foundation

Thanks Current President Ed Feulner for His Years of Service

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement, congratulating U.S. Senator Jim DeMint on being named the next President of The Heritage Foundation and thanking current President Ed Feulner for his years of service.
 
“The Heritage Foundation is trading one principled conservative stalwart for another. I congratulate Senator DeMint on his new position as President of The Heritage Foundation and thank Ed Feulner for his years of service.

"It's difficult to overstate the impact of both men on the conservative movement and the country. Their leadership, standing firm while advocating for conservative principles of limited government, fiscal discipline and traditional moral values, has become invaluable, especially during the last few years as government has grown exponentially and spending has exploded to record levels.

“While the future holds many challenges for our nation, I look forward to working with Senator DeMint in his new position as we advocate for conservative principles in our Nation's Capital."

Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana and serves on the House Committee on Agriculture, the House Committee on the Budget and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. Indiana’s 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties, as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
