Rep. Susan Davis Earns Perfect Score on the Environment from the League of Conservation Voters
Washington – The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) released its 2010 legislative scorecard and Congresswoman Susan Davis (D-San Diego) received a score of 100% for her votes to protect the environment.
“San Diego is known for its exceptional landscape and environment,” said Davis. “Protecting and preserving it has always been extremely important to me, and I will continue to work hard on this issue at the national level.”
Since 1970, the LCV has surveyed the most important votes on environmental votes in Congress. The 2010 Scorecard examines 10 votes from the House of Representatives.
Davis was recognized for her votes to hold accountable those that were responsible for the oil spill in the Gulf, to protect our oceans from acidification, to encourage energy efficiency, and to protect estuaries.
