Wordtech Sys. Inc. v. Integrated Network Solutions Inc. (E.D. Cal.)
OPINION – Wordtech sued debtor Integrated, and an individual, for patent infringement. The individual moved for a stay of the proceeding against him pending Integrated’s bankruptcy case. The automatic stay does not extend to co-defendants, but proceeding now with the infringement action would strain judicial resources with two trials on the same issues. Motion granted.
The bondholders filed a 114-page objection, arguing that Wall Street Creditors have the same rights as Calpers.
