The event is slated for 7 p.m. Aug. 23 at West Virginia Northern Community College in the main auditorium on the first floor. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

"Town hall meetings and roundtable discussions are where I get a real sense of what issues and challenges are facing my constituents," said McKinley, R-W.Va. "These meetings allow me the chance to feel the pulse of a community by listening and responding to their concerns.

"We have conducted town halls in all 20 counties in the 1st Congressional District. I value any opportunity to get out of the Beltway and hear what my constituents care about. I will continue to be accessible and available for the people I represent, so I can fight for them in Washington," he added.
