Internships

Thank you for your interest in an internship with my office. Internships provide a unique learning experience for college students and recent college graduates to gain first-hand experience and knowledge of the political process and the operations of a Congressional office. Internship opportunities are available year round in our Washington, D.C. office and our district office in Dallas. All internships are based on merit.

Administrative duties may include mail processing, material duplication, collation of media reports and information, responding to telephone, email and written inquiries, and assisting with a variety of other office projects.

A Washington intern experience may also include touring and visiting monuments, galleries, and other sites around the city.
