Hello Mr. Congressman, I would like to share my opinion with you about government and sports. It is my belief that congress needs to get out of sports and stop holding hearings on whether or not someone used enhancement drugs. As the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL are all private company, it is the companies responsibility to ensure their employees are abiding by their guidelines. The government wouldn't come to where I work and ask me if I used enhancement drugs, so why do it with sports. It is not your responsibility. Your responsibility is to work for the good of your community, state and nation. With all the other problems with our nation, sports are the least of them. Please spend your time elsewhere and please push for others to do the same. Thank you for your time. -Myk Crouch

Please fight to repeal the controlled substances act of 1970. This horrible law and the agency it created have got to go. How can we be the land of the free if we have so many imprisoned?

  2. This op-ed highlights a point I have been making for a while: the best path to fiscal stability is thoughtful and targeted investment that will directly create jobs combined with thoughtful and conservative belt-tightening, not drastic spen...
ding cuts. Krugman also points out that weaponized Keynesiansim, “the assertion that government spending creates jobs, but only if it goes to the military,” is a hypocritical and inaccurate claim.

  3. As the calendar turns toward the last month of 2012, I’d like to invite you to share some of your favorite landscape photos from around the 8th district. Post them on my timeline, and I'll pick some of them to use as cover photos for this page. Looking forward to seeing your submissions!
