Washington Visitor's Guide

Are you planning to visit Washington D.C.? Whether you are coming on a short business trip, or an extended family vacation, my office can help you make arrangements for some of the more popular Federal attractions in our Nation’s Capital.

We are able to help you reserve tours to the White House and US Capitol Building and we would be glad to assist you in finding out more about tours for the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Center, the Supreme Court, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Click here for our DC Tours Request Form.

These tours are an excellent way to see all that the Nation’s Capital has to offer, and all of these tours are of no charge to you. All tickets are provided to my constituents in the 9th District on a first-come, first-serve basis. Due to the large number of visitors and limited tour space, especially at the White House and Bureau of Engraving and Printing, we ask that you submit all tour requests 5-6 months in advance in order to maximize your chances, especially during the months of March- August.

The White House will also require a background check on all visitors; so my office will need to get the full names, birthdays, SSNs, and city and state of current residence of everyone in your party. International visitors will need to provide their passport number and the city into which they arrived.  This information must be submitted at the time my office makes your tour request.  This information will be handled in the most sensitive and secure manner.

While you are in Washington, D.C., I encourage you and your family to stop by my office.  We look forward to seeing you!
