Bennet Statement on Aurora Movie Theater Shooting

Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet released the following statement after learning of the tragic shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado early this morning.

“This was a horrible, senseless and abhorrent act.  My family and I are shocked and deeply saddened this morning and our hearts are with the victims and their families.  My staff and I are in contact with and offering our support to law enforcement and medical officials as they respond to the shooting.”

Aurora police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call 303-627-3100.
