Lake Charles Native Interns in Boustany Office

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr. (R-Southwest Louisiana) welcomed Lake Charles native Hope Fuller as a summer intern in his Washington office.  Fuller, a public relations major at Louisiana State University, will work in Boustany’s Washington office until the end of June.

“Hope is a great addition to my Washington staff,” Boustany said. “This experience provides her the opportunity to learn the legislative process and assist the many Southwest Louisiana residents who visit our office every day.  Hope is a bright student and I look forward to following her success in the coming years.”

Boustany makes every effort to treat interns as a member of his staff.  They attend briefings and committee hearings, respond to constituent mail and assist other staff members when needed.

“It has been an exciting and interesting experience to be able to live and work in our nation’s capital. I want to thank Congressman Boustany for this incredible opportunity,”Fuller said.
