Boustany Supports Tax Cut for Small Businesses

(Washington, DC)  – Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D. (R-South Louisiana), released the following statement after the House of Representatives voted to pass the Small Business Tax Cut Act of 2012, legislation providing a 20% tax deduction for small businesses with fewer than 500 employees:

“This is valuable legislation to reduce the tax burden on Louisiana small businesses that employ our friends, families and neighbors. I will continue to support similar legislation to foster a pro-growth environment for small businesses in South Louisiana while encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation.”
