Boustany Nominates Two Local Leaders to FEMA National Advisory Council

(Washington, DC)  – Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D. (R-South Louisiana), released the following statement after nominating two local leaders, Administrator Tina Horn of Cameron Parish and Director Dick Gremillion of Calcasieu Parish’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, to serve on the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Advisory Council:

“FEMA seeks qualified individuals to serve on its National Advisory Council. These experts and leaders assist in various capacities ranging from Emergency Management and Response to In-Patient Medical Provider. This year, I nominated two local leaders to the 35 member council. Both Tina and Dick represent the best of South Louisiana with regard to emergency management, preparedness, and training. Their experiences provide them with unique qualifications very well suited to serve on this council. I am proud to nominate both of them and look forward to receiving positive news from FEMA regarding their status.”
