“With Louisiana recently named the ‘Most Pro-Life’ state in the union, I am proud to stand and defend the right to life. This legislation protects the religious liberty and conscience rights of every American who objects to the federal government forcing groups to pay for drugs and procedures mandated by the Department of Health and Human Services. This action exhibits a blatant overreach of power by the executive branch. I support the right to life and will continue protecting it.”
