(Washington, DC)  – Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D. (R-South Louisiana), issued the following statement as the search for local UL-Lafayette student, Michaela "Mickey" Shunick, continues: 

“I encourage all parties in the community to get involved and join in the search for Mickey. Please be on the lookout for her and alert authorities if you have any information which may lead to her whereabouts. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as it goes through this difficult time.”
