(Washington, DC) – Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr. M.D. (R-South Louisiana) released the following statement after the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL) received a grant of $456,291.00 from the Federal Transit Administration:

“The grant will increase accessibility to UL’s campus. The funds will be used to extend a bikeway across UL’s campus over major transit areas. This project will increase accessibility to the areas and diversify travelers’ mobility. I am proud to see UL Lafayette working to improve transportation on its campus.”
