The Octagon House

Architectural exhibits.
Served as James Madison's White House following the destruction of the real White House by the British in 1814.
The Treaty of Ghent was signed here, ending the War of 1812. Open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm/Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4:00pm. Closed Monday.
