Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX) issued the following statement in response to the news of the death of Osama Bin Laden:

“The news of Osama Bin Laden’s death is delayed justice for the vicious and unwarranted attacks he perpetuated on America on September 11th, 2001.  Since then, America has been fighting in two nations, and those who serve in our military and intelligence agencies have kept the War on Terror off the shores of the United States. We must continue to be ever vigilant in ensuring that another attack does not again occur in America.

 “This is a moment of justice for the families of the Americans we lost on September 11th. God Bless them, as well as those that serve in harm's way and God bless America.”
