Today the House passed a bipartisan bill aimed at helping small businesses and startups grow. H.R. 3606, the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS Act),  is a package of six targeted bills that will help businesses access capital to grow and create jobs.

By removing government barriers to job creation and economic activity, H.R. 3606 will help startups and entrepreneurs get off the ground, access capital, and create jobs.

"Small businesses and entrepreneurs are the drivers of economic growth in America. Startups have created nearly 40 million jobs since 1980 and small businesses generate two out of every three new jobs.

"Right now, red tape and uncertainty from Washington make it hard for someone to take a risk and create a small business or startup company. We must do everything we can to ensure that America remains a country of opportunity where risk takers are rewarded and not stifled by costly regulations" - Doug Lamborn (CO-05)
