Last night the Senate, with bipartisan opposition, defeated a state bail-out measure from the President’s jobs bill. It’s clear the Senate Leader Reid is pursuing only a political agenda, not results that will help growth our economy and spur job creation.

Bipartisan Opposition To More Stimulus & Tax Increases Continues On President’s Jobs Bill IN Senate. “The first measure, a piece of President Obama’s larger jobs package, failed in a 50-50 vote after two Democrats and Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman (Conn.) joined Senate Republicans in voting against moving to the measure. Democrats Ben Nelson (Neb.) and Mark Pryor (Ark.) also sided with Republicans. Nelson and Sen.
