Homeland Security

As a member of the Homeland Security Committee I am responsible for helping to protect our nation and American families from both domestic and international terrorism. I also serve as Vice Chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Transportation Security. With Chicago O’Hare just minutes outside of my district, this position allows me to focus which ways to improve passenger and cargo security at one the largest airports in the country, while reducing the screening time of passengers trying to board flights.
