- A special thanks to those who attended the Candlelight Vigil tonight. The outpouring of support for our Heroes is deeply touching.
- The Chamber of Commerce has announced there will be a Candlelight Vigil tomorrow, Nov. 17th, at 6 p.m. at the Centennial Plaza. All those who wish may gather to honor and show their support for the Heroes and their families and friends. The Chamber has asked participants to bring their own candles due to a limited number available. Thank you.
- Mayor Perry has asked Midland citizens to show support by lowering their flags to half-mast until Monday morning at 8:00 a.m.

It will be led by Mayor Perry and is open to the public.
- My thoughts and prayers go out to those who were involved in the Show of Support parade accident in Midland earlier this evening. While there are still many questions to be answered, now is the time to rally around those involved and support their families during this difficult time.
