Udall Welcomes Kaiser Permanente Decision to Open New IT Campus
Mark Udall welcomed Kaiser Permanente's announcement today that it will open a new information technology campus in Greenwood Village next month.
"Kaiser Permanente's decision to open a new technology campus in Greenwood Village is a boon for Colorado's economy, creating 500 good-paying jobs for Coloradans," Udall said. "Kaiser is already a job creator, employing 6,000 Coloradans throughout the state. I am pleased that this well-respected company has decided to continue to invest in our state - particularly in the important area of health information technology, which will only further improve quality care and service for the 535,000 Coloradans Kaiser serves."
Kaiser Permanente currently serves more than 535,000 Coloradans. In October, Kaiser opened two new medical offices in Fort Collins and Loveland, and plans to open additional medical offices in Lone Tree (2013) and Greeley (2014).
