Appropriations Form

Note: Fields marked with an * are required.

On February 1, 2011, the Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Inouye announced a two-year moratorium on earmarks. Sen. Murkowski will honor his decision and will not formally submit any earmark requests to the Senate Appropriations Committee. However, Sen. Murkowski believes it is still important to know the needs of Alaska and the best way to know that information is to hear it directly from the people of Alaska, so the Senator’s policy moving forward will be to continue to solicit that information from towns and communities across the state through a much shorter request form for the FY 2013 Appropriations cycle. The information will be extremely valuable as the Appropriations Committee turns to setting funding levels for a host of programs that are critical to Alaska and also as the various Departments and Agencies begin to make grant and allocation decisions. Please complete and submit the form to file a FY13 Appropriations Request. The deadline for FY13 Appropriations Requests is February 24, 2012.
