Congressman Walberg Comments on Judge's Health Care Ruling

Washington, D.C. - After Florida Judge Roger Vinson ruled that it’s unconstitutional to force individual citizens to purchase health care insurance as mandated in Obamacare, Congressman Tim Walberg released the following statement:

“I am very pleased that the courts are coming to the same commonsense conclusion that the people did months ago- Washington shouldn’t be involved in mandating an individual’s health care decisions.  I believe health care decisions should be made by patients, families, and their doctors, not bureaucrats in Washington.  I will continue to work hard to see that these burdensome taxes and mandates are fully repealed and replaced with simple reforms that will truly help families and small businesses deal with rising health care costs.”
