This sounds an awful lot like the plan we sent the President last week. Why is it that the goal posts suddenly seem to be moving?- Later this afternoon, I will be meeting with representatives from Summa Health System. Just before that, I will be meeting with the Ohio Newspaper Association. Both groups would like to discuss some of their priorities for next year. I always appreciate the opportunity to meet with local groups and businesses so I can see if there are areas where I can be helpful in my position as their representative to Washington.

- Earlier today I signed several Holiday cards the American Red Cross will be sending to our troops overseas. I used the opportunity thank them for their service to our nation. This time of year can be especially difficult because they are st...ationed far from family and friends. The sacrifices they make for all of us is a debt we can never truly hope to repay. I let them know that I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers, and that I was hoping for their safe and speedy return home.See More
