A Taxing News Cycle For The White House

Sep 30, 2011

It’s a rough news day for the White House. The President’s tax hike muse Warren Buffett announced he does not support the President’s “Buffett Rule” this morning on CNBC. Breaking overnight Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin announced he doesn’t have enough Democratic votes to pass the President’s jobs bill because of the proposed tax increases. A CNN Poll out this morning shows 90% of Americans say the economy is in poor condition, and President Obama said that Americans were “soft,” before he was elected President. And yesterday Vice President Joe Biden took responsibility for the economy on behalf of the Obama Administration. The White House Press Briefing is at 12:30pm today, please ask Jay Carney how his day is going.
