(GOSHEN, NY) – Orange County and the Red Cross will continue to keep the following two shelters open and operational this evening, Wednesday October 31, 2012:  

Emergency Housing Group (County)

Cuddebackville, NY. 12729

This facility will close on Thursday November 1, 2012.

Both shelters are accepting pets, but they must be in appropriate cages and pet food is the responsibility of the owner.

Those who decide to enter a shelter are encouraged to bring their medications as well as personal comfort items such as pillows, toiletries and additional blankets. 

Residents in need of assistance this evening may call 2-1-1 for assistance with obtaining information on health and human services.
