Congressman Cantor Tours Hardwood Artisans In Culpeper

CULPEPER, VA - On Thursday, Congressman Eric Cantor (VA-07) toured Hardwood Artisans, a local small business and manufacturing shop that is creating jobs in Culpeper:

Congressman Cantor said, "Hardwood Artisans is an American small business success story. What started as a simple desire to create and build a business has grown into a thriving manufacturing company whose work and craftsmanship is remarkable. Yesterday, I met with the men and women who worked hard to make that dream a reality, first in Northern Virginia and now Culpeper. One of the reasons they relocated was Culpeper's business friendly environment. This environment can be created across the country, not just in Culpeper, if we keep taxes low and remove burdensome red tape. This will make it easier for more small business owners to invest their capital, create good jobs and get people back to work."

Owner Mark Gatterdam added, “On behalf of the entire team at Hardwood Artisans, we were honored to have Congressman Cantor visit our wood shop. It was a great opportunity to showcase our small business, products and employees. We look forward to bringing more jobs and business to Virginia.”
