Congressman Cantor Remembers Pearl Harbor

RICHMOND, VA – Today, Congressman Eric Cantor (VA-07) released the following statement in remembrance of the attack on the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941:

“Today, we honor the fallen sailors and brave heroes of Pearl Harbor and give thanks to all past and present patriots. This devastating attack on America changed the course of our nation’s history forever and reinforced our resolve to defend liberty at home and abroad. In the face of tragedy, Virginians and Americans showed the strength and spirit that makes our country great. We will never forget the sacrifice of the Greatest Generation and their families who answered the call of duty and fought to preserve the freedoms we have today. It also serves as a reminder of the vigilance we must always maintain to keep our country safe."
