Dear Friend,

Every July 4th, Americans come together to celebrate our rich history and our country’s great legacy of freedom, justice, and equality.

Independence Day is a wonderful opportunity to spend with family and friends enjoying the beautiful Central Coast that we all call home.

As your Representative, I spend the Fourth of July reflecting on the honor and privilege of working on behalf of you and your families, ensuring your concerns and priorities are heard in Washington.

Today, we express our deepest gratitude to those who serve our country around the world in the name of freedom and democracy. We must never forget the sacrifices they—and their families—make to safeguard our cherished freedoms.

Independence Day is not only a day of celebration, but also one of reflection and renewal. As we enjoy today’s festivities, let us revitalize our commitment to the values that make our nation a unique and wonderful place to live.
