Congressman Upton to Present Flag to 8th Grader

A Kalamazoo 8th grader is getting a cool award from Congressman Fred Upton Thursday.
He'll present a U.S. flag that flew over the Capitol Building in Washington to Jeannie Monroe for her winning essay in a national contest for the Daughters of the American Revolution.
That ceremony is at 1:00 Thursday afternoon at the Gagie School.
