Bordallo Celebrates the 18th Anniversary of the Passage of VAWA; DOJ Awards Guam $518,565

The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women has awarded Guam three grants totaling $518,565 to support victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. The grants, awarded to Elim Pacific Ministries, the Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence, and the Office of the Governor, were authorized by the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005.
