I enjoy meeting with Idahoans whenever possible, and appreciate the efforts of those who travel to Washington, DC, for business or pleasure. If you would like to schedule an appointment with me when you are visiting in Washington, DC, please contact my Executive Assistant Karen Brown by fax at (202) 228-1375. Please include the following items and any other relevant details in your request or you may fill out this D.C. Meeting PDF-fillable form. If you would like to meet with me while I'm in Idaho, please fill out this State Meeting PDF-fillable form.

  • Requested meeting date(s)
  • Name(s) and title(s) of those who will be attending the meeting
  • Organization(s) represented
  • Address, including hometown in Idaho
  • Phone number(s), including cell phone
  • Issues to be discussed

Senator Crapo meets with Sharon Marmon from Nampa's Centennial Job Corps.Although I will do my best to meet with every Idahoan who visits my office, it is often hard to predict the Senate’s schedule and accommodate each request. Generally meetings with Idahoans are held in the afternoon, usually after 2:30 p.m. in an effort to avoid the busy morning hours, when committee meetings and other Senate business is frequently conducted. However, in the event that I am not available, please know that one of my staff will be glad to meet with you and pass along any concerns you may have to me.

Here are some tips to help you through process of scheduling a meeting with me:

  • My Executive Assistant reviews every request. But due to the large volume of requests we receive, please allow three (3) business days before following up on the request.
  • Please be patient as I receive dozens of requests for each day, and it is frequently a balancing act to fit as many people as possible onto the schedule.
  • Requests are generally dealt with on a chronological basis; that is, the meeting requests that are for dates in the near future will be dealt with before the requests that are several weeks or months out.  Nevertheless you are encouraged to send your meeting request in when you are ready to do so, recognizing that a confirmation may not be readily available.
  • Please DO NOT mail your Washington, DC, requests to me. Due to security procedures at the United States Senate, delivery of regular mail is often delayed for weeks and your request may not arrive in a timely manner.
  • To save you additional effort, if you FAX your request, it is not necessary to follow up with a hard copy in the mail or an email.
  • If you haven't heard back from Karen or another member of my staff within two weeks of your requested meeting, please call my office at (202) 224-6142.

It is useful to use the same guidelines as listed above for state scheduling requests and provide as much information as possible regarding your request. I appreciate your consideration and the opportunities that I have to meet with Idahoans, both in Washington, DC, and in Idaho.

If you are in need of immediate assistance regarding casework or a personal matter involving a federal agency, an appointment directly with me may not be necessary.  Please call my office nearest to you to determine the most effective way to resolve your concern.
