Veterans

We all owe our freedom and cherished way of life to those who have served, and continue to serve, in our armed forces. In return for their service, I believe we have a solemn obligation to provide our veterans with the benefits and care they have earned through their service to our great country.

During my time in Washington, I have fought tirelessly for the welfare of our veterans, and I will continue to support legislation that has their best interests at heart. I am committed to seeing that our veterans are awarded the benefits they have rightly earned, and the care they need for injuries and illnesses incurred as a result of their service.

I will continue working with the Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure that the federal government is responsive to the needs of veterans, and I will always fight to make sure veterans receive the healthcare and pension benefits to which they are entitled.
