Visiting Washington, D.C. is an exciting and educational experience. My door is always open to you, so please don't hesitate to stop by my office to visit with me and my staff. In addition, my staff can serve as a resource to you in booking tours for your trip. My office is able to provide White House and Capitol tours, if you are interested in other attractions in Washington, please visit their webpages

The White House

Due to increased security procedures enacted since September 11th, tickets to tour the White House are limited. It is required for you to share personal information with my staff. A background check is also required.

Tour requests should be made up to six months in advance and no later than 21 days before the requested tour date. White House tours are not guaranteed, requests are considered on a first come first serve basis. The White House does not inform Congressional offices of the status of tour requests until two weeks before the requested tour date.

The United States Capitol

The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center is open to visitors from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and on Inauguration Day. It is my pleasure to serve the constituents of the 11th District of Ohio.
