DoI's Save America’s Treasures

The National Park Service is now accepting applications for the 2010 Save America's Treasures (SAT) grant round. *2010 SAT grant funds are not affected by the President's FY 2011 budget request that eliminates the SAT program.  Applications are due by May 21, 2010, at 11:59pm EST and will be awarded late in 2010. 

U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services

Department of Justice

The Department offers funding opportunities to conduct research, to support law enforcement activities in state and local jurisdictions, to provide training and technical assistance, and to implement programs that improve the criminal justice system.

Department of Transportation

DoT annually funds approximately $32 billion in grants and cooperative agreements. Departmental grants are generally made to State and local governments, with a lesser amount going to Indian tribes, universities, and nonprofit organizations. These grants are normally used to assist these entities in the planning, design, and construction of transportation improvements (e.g., highway, transit, and airport improvements). A limited amount of funding is available for research and development projects.

Department of Local Government

DLG has two offices that administer grant programs: The Office of Federal Grants and The Office of State Grants. Provides an overview of funding opportunities for the Office of Federal Grants and the Office of State Grants.

Kentucky Office of Homeland Security

Each year Kentucky is called on to compete with other states and urban areas to receive federal homeland security funding. The state provides the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with a comprehensive document that entails how homeland security funds will be used in Kentucky.

Kentucky Division of Emergency Management

Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives

Kentucky Department of Education
