This law, if passed, will certainly discriminate against minorities; including low-income, elderly, non-whites, and students - the same population that generally votes with the DFL. It will be prohibitively expensive to institute and sustain, forcing states to spend millions of precious dollars on regulation and enforcement. MN can expect to pay $10 million, or more to comply! Republicans are demanding these laws. Remember the Poll Tax? Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

The people disenfranchised by voter registration are people like my dad and mom, who do not have current ID's with the address for the assisted living facility they live in. They have been active voters all their lives and at 90 y.o. they are not going out to get a state id. and the other only people disenfranchised by a law like this are my two children who are out of state and do not have an id with their address on.the school id

Your BS about this issue is just what everyone has come to expect from you. At least you stay consistent.

The only people disenfranchised by Voter ID are those who want to commit voter fraud. The only people who are against Voter ID are those who want to enable voter fraud.
