Visit Washington D.C.

Millions of people visit Washington every year, and it’s no wonder. This is an exciting and beautiful city. The museums, monuments, buildings, and culture of Washington capture much of the history and spirit of the American experience.

Washington has much to offer visitors, but it can be confusing to navigate. Below, you will find information about Capitol tours and other points of interest. In addition, you can request an information packet from Congressman Schiff’s Washington office which includes public tour information, maps and brochures about the Washington area.

Congressman Schiff’s office will send you tour information as soon as your completed form is received. During your visit, please stop by Congressman Schiff’s office to say hello, or to pick up free gallery passes which allow you to observe debate on the House and Senate floor (when the chambers are in session).

If you would like to request a tour of the U.S. Capitol building, White House, or other venues, please fill out and submit the Tour Request Form.

Please try to submit the form as early as possible. This is especially important during the peak tourist season between March and October. Many of the tours that accept Congressional reservations become booked more than three months in advance, especially during the summer months and around major holidays.

Please note: Due to the number of requests Congressman Schiff receives, only residents of the 28th District of California can be accommodated. If you are not from the 28th District, please contact your Representative for tour reservations.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Congressman Schiff’s office at (202) 225-4176. Have an enjoyable and memorable visit!
