Bono Mack Honored by National Advocacy Group
For Her Efforts to Improve Well-Being of Children

Washington, DC -- Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (CA-45) today was named a 2012 “Defender of Children” by the national, bipartisan advocacy group, First Focus Campaign for Children.  According to the organization, Congresswoman Bono Mack was honored for advancing policies to improve the well-being of America’s children.

“Lots of politicians talk about kids’ issues, but few back it up,” said Bruce Lesley, president of the Campaign for Children.  Congresswoman Bono Mack, he continued, “delivered for kids.”
