This story orginally aired on KGO (ABC Bay Area). On January 17th, Chief Petty Officer Carl Clark, an African-American who served during World War II, was presented with the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with the Combat Distinguishing Device by Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus. Rep. Eshoo, who advocated for Clark to receive the recognition, hosted the presentation at Moffett Field.
