Issues: Africa

Mr. Conyers and the Congressional Black Caucus have been stalwart in their efforts to keep the issue of Africa on the forefront of the US' agenda.Additionally, Mr. Conyers has co-sponsored legislation to increased funding to Africa via the Marshall Plan Aids Trust Fund which provides funding to address the Aids pandemic, in particular, sub-Sahara Africa.
