The phone number for the Disaster Assistance Customer Service Center is 716-843-4100 or 800-659-2955, Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Eastern) Monday through Friday.

The SBA provides low interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes and private, nonprofit organizations to repair or replace real estate, personal property, machinery & equipment, inventory and business assets that have been damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster.

Homeowners/Renters: If you are in a declared disaster area and are the victim of a disaster, you may be eligible for a low-interest rate disaster loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration - even if you don't own a business. As a homeowner, renter and/or personal-property owner, you may apply to the SBA for a loan to help you recover from a disaster.
