Baltimore County Department of Health Observes World AIDS Day by Offering FREE HIV Testing

The Baltimore County Department of Health will hold a free HIV testing clinic in recognition of World AIDS Day. This event is open to all and no appointment is necessary. Please note that the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention recommends that individuals aged 13-64 be tested for HIV.

Observed annually on December 1, World AIDS Day is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people, with an estimated 38.6 million people living with HIV, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history.
