Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located in Marion, has been awarded a $16,481,921 contract by the U.S. Army. The contract is for the procurement of 1,312,046 each 20mm PGU-28 A/B SAPHEI cartridges.
"The dedicated employees at General Dynamics are helping sustain our armed forces," said Costello. "This is important work and I am pleased that it is being done in Southern Illinois."
