SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY CARBONDALE RECEIVES HHS GRANT

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Carbondale has been awarded a $98,206 health care facilities grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  The funds will be used for building improvements. 

"SIUC is nationally recognized for ground-breaking research, and maintaining campus buildings is an essential part of a first-rate learning environment," said Costello. "I will continue to support efforts to realize the goals laid out in the 'Southern at 150' plan."
