U.S. CONGRESSMAN JERRY COSTELLO PARTICIPATES IN SAVE EVENT

Belleville, IL - On Monday, May 9, 2005, U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) participated in an open house and ceremonies commemorating the transfer of property owned by the federal government to St. Clair Associated Vocational Enterprises. (SAVE)

Costello, along with other officials, made remarks and presented a flag that has flown over the U.S. Capitol to representatives of SAVE who were present to mark the occasion of the property transfer. SAVE is a not-for-profit organization that serves individuals with disabilities. Costello also helped cut a ribbon at the facility dedicating the ownership to SAVE.  SAVE is located at 3001 Save Road in Belleville, Illinois.
